Roberto Frontini was chief conductor of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Lübeck (JSOL) from 1978 to 2002.

With the orchestra Roberto performed more then 100 concerts with more then 140 different pieces out of them 4 were first performances.

The Focus of  performances were rarely played pieces by sometime forgotten composers.

​

The orchestra celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2000 and the concert (14/10/2000) in the hall of the high school for music in Lübeck was recorded.

Soloist of the concert was one of the initiators of the orchestra, the oboist Johannes Brüggemann.

The conductor was Roberto Frontini.
